About our Company:

The company Ricardo Reynal – Produtos Alimentares Unip. Lda. was created in September 2018, with the aim of implementing the business vision of founding partner Ricardo Reynal and continuing the family legacy, which dates back to 1942.

Ricardo Reynal has extensive experience in the canning sector, in which he has experienced different phases of the industrial process and the market, which gives him great added value, the possibility of bringing together all this knowledge and applying it to his project.

In the past, his family owned five Canned Fish factories (one is still active today) - three of them in Matosinhos -, creating and developing innovative projects and some of the best Portuguese brands.

In 2018, this need to create our own path was born, with different objectives and a more specific vision, which to this day has been fantastic!

Ricardo Reynal – Food Products Unip. Lda., in addition to Conservas de Peixe, works in partnership with an artisanal mill in Trás-os-Montes, where “fantastic olive oil” is produced, thus creating synergies between sectors that can be complementary at a productive level, but can be considered complementary for the final consumer and for customers who have a distribution channel or resale space.

Currently the company owns, represents and produces brands for different markets and clients around the world, not focusing solely on its brands, but working in partnership with new and old market players.

We firmly believe that cooperation is the key to success, trust and growth.

Ricardo Reynal – Food Products Unip. Lda. although it is a "young company" - with just three employees -, it has a clear promotion and growth strategy.

Having recently been notified as TOP 5% SME in Portugal in the year 2023.

In the future, the company intends to grow in the markets where it already operates, increasing its market shares, but also increasing its range of food product offerings, creating partnerships with national producers for more food sectors.

It also intends to create more jobs and be a reference, not only for the product it sells, but for the attitude, human relationships and values ​​that the company has and will continue to have.
